This week, StartUp Health community member Salvo Health announced a Series A round to scale its AI-enabled hybrid care model for gastrointestinal and metabolic care, helping providers deliver continuous, more efficient treatment beyond the clinic. The round anchored a blockbuster week in global health innovation funding, with massive raises across AI, digital care delivery, biotech, and medical infrastructure spanning the US, Europe, and India.

Salvo Health, a New York, NY-based digital gastrointestinal care company in the StartUp Health community, raised an $8.5M Series A funding round led by ManchesterStory, City Light Capital, and Threshold Ventures, with participation from The Artemis Fund, Contour Venture Partners, Owl Capital, Impact X Capital Partners, Human Ventures, Torch Capital, Felicis Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. <source>

Merge Labs, a San Francisco, CA-based brain-computer interface startup, raised $252M from OpenAI. <source>

OpenEvidence, a Miami, FL-based startup that provides an AI-powered medical search engine that helps ‍clinicians quickly find and synthesize information from peer-reviewed journals and clinical guidelines, raised $250M co-led by Thrive Capital and DST Global. <source>

Oviva, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of digital, reimbursed care for weight-related and chronic conditions, raised €200M ($234M) led by Kinnevik, with participation from Planet First Partners, A.P. Moller Holding, Lunate, EGS Beteiligungen AG, Norrsken VC, and Sofina. <source>

Synthesia, a London, UK-based AI-enabled synthetic video training platform offering healthcare customers the ability to create clinical, compliance, and onboarding training for healthcare staff, clinical researchers, and new hires, raised $200M led by Google Ventures (GV), with participation from Evantic, Hedosophia, NVentures, Accel, Kleiner Perkins, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), PSP Growth, Air Street Capital, and MMC Ventures. <source>

Zarminali Pediatrics, a Chicago, IL-based tech startup building digital, operational, and clinical infrastructure for modern pediatric care, raised $110M led by Healthier Capital, with participation from General Catalyst and K2 HealthVentures. <source>

Mendra, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-powered biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for rare disease medicines, raised $82M co-led by OrbiMed, 8VC, and 5AM Ventures, with participation from Lux Capital and Wing VC. <source>

AnswersNow, a Richmond, VA-based virtual autism therapy provider, raised $40M led by HealthQuest Capital, with participation from Left Lane Capital, Owl Ventures, and other investors. <source>

Benepass, a New York, NY-based benefits capital management platform, raised $40M led by Centana Growth Partners, with participation from Future of Work Partners, Portage Ventures, and Threshold Ventures. <source>

L-Nutra, a Los Angeles, CA-based nutri-technology company advancing science-driven nutrition for longevity and nutrition as medicine, raised $36.5M led by Mubadala Investment Company. <source>

Evaro, a Norwich, UK-based digital health platform that offers next-day prescription services for contraceptive, sexual health, and minor condition products, raised $25M led by AlbionVC, with participation from Simplyhealth Ventures, Exceptional Ventures, Cornerstone VC, and BBI. <source>

SamanTree Medical, an Awans, Belgium-based surgical imaging company, raised €20M ($23.95M) led by the European Investment Bank (EIB). <source>

BrightInsight, a San Jose, CA-based digital health startup that specializes in AI-enabled medication persistence and adherence solutions, raised $13M from Eclipse, General Catalyst, Insight Partners, Mayo Clinic, and New Leaf Venture Partners. <source>

One to One Health, a Chattanooga, TN-based provider of employer-sponsored onsite and virtual primary care solutions, raised $12M led by Frist Cressey Ventures. <source>

4baseCare, a Bengaluru, India-based precision oncology startup that is building an AI-driven tech platform, raised ₹90cr ($9.8M) co-led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with participation from Yali Capital. <source>

Phoebe, a New York, NY-based platform designed to automate agency operations in home healthcare operations, raised $9.5M led by Quiet Capital and Slow Ventures, with participation by Roar Ventures, Moxxie, Consonant, and Gokul Rajaram. <source>

PraxisPro, a Houston, TX-based sales coaching platform targeted at medical fields, raised $6M led by AlleyCorp, with participation from Flybridge, South Loop Ventures, and Zeal Capital Partners. <source>

Claim Health, a New York, NY-based startup providing AI-native revenue operations for post-acute care, raised $4.4M led by Maverick Ventures, with participation from Peak XV, Y Combinator, DHVP, and other individual investors. <source>
