Salvo Health Raises an Additional $4M in Expanded Seed Round | StartUp Health Insights: Week of Jun 10, 2025

A founding member of StartUp Health’s Food as Medicine Health Moonshot Community, Salvo Health is on a mission to bring more comprehensive, integrative GI care to millions of sufferers from chronic gut issues.

Salvo Health, a New York, NY-based digital gastrointestinal care company in the StartUp Health community, raised $4M in an extended seed round from The Artemis Fund, City Light, Human Ventures, Threshold Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Felicis Ventures, and Torch Capital. The company’s platform addresses obesity, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), fatty liver disease, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Salvo launched in 2022 with $10.5M in funding and announced a $5M seed round in February of 2024. <source>

Other global health innovation funding reported this week included:

Paytient, a Columbia, MO-based healthcare payments company, raised $40M from Trinity Capital. <source>

Aeon, a Zurich, Switzerland-based AI preventive health platform, raised €8.2M ($9.4M) led by Concentric, with participation from Calm/Storm Ventures, GoHub, Kadmos, EWOR and Daniel Gutenberg. <source>

ArcheHealth, a Birmingham, AL-based healthcare operational intelligence company launching an AI-powered platform, raised $6.7M from Martin Ventures, LRVHealth, and Texas Health Resources. <source>

Canid, a New York, NY-based healthcare technology company focused on pediatric vaccine management, raised $10M led by Telescope Partners, with participation from FJ Labs, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, SeedtoB, and others. <source>

Amperos Health, a New York, NY-based startup providing an AI biller specifically created for healthcare providers, raised $4.2M led by Uncork Capital, Neo, Nebular, and angel investors. <source>

Clara Home Care, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI-powered platform that delivers in-home care for families, raised $3.1M led by Torch Capital, Virtue, Y Combinator, and angel investors. <source>

AIATELLA, a Helsinki, Finland-based medtech startup developing AI-powered cardiovascular imaging technology, raised €2M ($2.3M) led by Nordic Science Investments, with participation from Specialist VC, Harjavalta Ventures, Business Finland, and a syndicate of angel investors. <source>

Cosm Medical, a Toronto, ON, Canada-based medical device company, raised an undisclosed amount led by iGan Partners, with participation from Spring Impact Capital and angel investors. <source>

Interactly AI, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a multimodal AI platform for healthcare administration, raised an undisclosed amount from Afore Capital, SeedtoB, and angel investors. <source>
