Punto Health Raises Seed Funding for ‘OS for Dementia Care’ | StartUp Health Insights: Week of Dec 16, 2025
London-based StartUp Health community member Punto Health is developing AI-powered tools for early detection and personalized support in dementia and cognitive decline. It capped a remarkably busy and truly global week, with funding flowing into AI, biotech, women’s health, clinical infrastructure, and preventive care companies from more than a dozen countries.

Punto Health, a London, UK-based member of the StartUp Health Alzheimer’s Moonshot Community, raised €2.3M ($2.7M) in a Seed funding round, co-led by Shilling VC and Plus Partners, with participation from Exceptional Ventures, Heartfelt, Fondo Bolsa Social, and ABAC Nest. The funding will accelerate product development and commercial expansion across the UK and Spain. <source>

Medra, a San Francisco, CA-based platform combining AI-driven scientific reasoning, robotic execution, and real-time optimization for drug discovery, raised $52M led by Human Capital, with participation from Lux Capital, Neo, NFDG, Catalio Capital Management, Menlo Ventures, 776, Fusion Fund, and others. <source>
Bennie, a New York, NY-based employee benefits and digital healthcare concierge company, raised $50M from LNC Partners. <source>
Radial, a New York, NY-based startup developing clinical infrastructure, reimbursement tools, and AI-guided decision support for advanced mental health treatments, raised $50M led by General Catalyst, with participation from Solari Capital, JSL Health Capital, Founder Collective, BoxGroup, Scrub Capital, and Diede van Lamoen. <source>
Ritten, a Philadelphia, PA-based behavioral health platform improving access to care, raised $35M led by Five Elms Capital, with participation from 8VC, Threshold Ventures, Bienville Capital, and others.. <source>
Wesper, a New York, NY-based online staffing marketplace for healthcare, raised $33.8M from undisclosed investors. <source>
Valerie Health, a San Francisco, CA-based startup building AI-powered front-office automation for physician practices, raised $30M led by Redpoint Ventures, with participation from General Catalyst, Primary Ventures, BoxGroup, Karman Ventures, 406 Ventures, Waybury Capital, and angel investors. <source>
Inito, a Houston, TX-based fertility startup using AI-designed antibodies to expand at-home hormone and diagnostic testing, raised $29M led by Bertelsmann India Investments and Fireside Ventures. <source>
Jutro Medical, a Warsaw, Poland-based AI-first primary healthcare provider blending virtual care and in-clinic services, raised €24M ($28.2M) led by Warsaw Equity Group, with participation from Vinci, naturalX Health Ventures, Fluent Ventures, Aternus, KAYA VC, and Inovo VC, with a debt component from mBank and Orbit Capital. <source>
Relation, a London, UK-based precision medicine company using machine learning to uncover new insights for drug development, raised $26M from NVentures, DCVC, and Magnetic Ventures. <source>
Parallel Learning, a New York, NY-based mental health startup offering virtual special education and teletherapy services for students, raised $20M led by Valspring Capital, with participation from Rethink Impact. <source>
Aradigm, a New York, NY-based platform expanding sustainable access to cell and gene therapies, raised $20M led by Frist Cressey Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz and Morgan Health. <source>
Mend, a Long Island City, NY-based nutrition technology startup focused on clinical nutrition programs, raised $20M led by S2G Investments. <source>
Valinor, a San Francisco, CA-based clinical trial tech startup, raised $13M led by CRV and Harpoon Ventures. <source>
Subsense, a Palo Alto, CA-based developer of non-surgical invasive, nanoparticle-based brain-computer interfaces, raised $10M from Golden Falcon Capital. <source>
MOST, a Melbourne, Australia-based digital mental health solution, raised A$14M ($9.28M) from Wellcome. <source>
AngelEye Health, a Nashville, TN-based provider of technology solutions for neonatal and pediatric care, raised $9M led by Mountain Group Partners. <source>
Lucis, a Paris, France-based startup democratizing access to preventive health testing, raised $8.5M led by General Catalyst, with participation from Y Combinator, Kima Ventures, Motier Ventures, Circle.Co, and North South Ventures. <source>
Mirai Medical, a Galway, Ireland-based platform using endoscopic pulsed electric fields (PEF) to transform the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, raised €7.2M ($8.4M) from the Irish government. <source>
Auxira Health, a Chicago, IL-based virtual cardiology company, raised $7.8M led by Route 66 Ventures and Abundant Venture Partners, with participation from DigiTx Partners, American Heart Association Ventures, Ensemble Innovation Ventures, and City Light Capital. <source>
Kitea Health, an Auckland, New Zealand-based brain implant startup that provides in-hospital and at-home monitoring for hydrocephalus, raised NZ$13M ($7.5M). <source>
a2z Radiology AI, a Boston, MA-based provider of an AI-powered FDA-cleared radiology triage system, raised $4.5M led by Khosla Ventures and SeaX Ventures. <source>
IVFmicro, a Leeds, UK-based developer of a microfluidic device to make IVF more effective and affordable, raised £3.5M ($4.7M) led by Northern Gritstone, with participation from the Innovate UK Investor Partnerships Programme. <source>
FICUS Health, a Berlin, Germany-based AI clinical documentation platform, raised €3M ($3.5M) led by Redstone, with participation from Merantix Capital and angel investors. <source>
JOGO Health, a Bridgewater, NJ-based digital health company focused on developing treatments for chronic pain and neuromuscular disorders, raised $3.18M from the NJ Innovation Evergreen Fund. <source>
Spare Tire, a New York, NY-based company that provides healthcare firms on-demand backup for sensitive records, raised $3M from undisclosed investors. <source>
