StartUp Health community member MiSalud Health raised new funding to expand its bilingual, AI-powered care platform to 20 additional states, advancing culturally competent access for Latino and Spanish-speaking communities. Around the world, innovators continued to push the frontier of health and science, with major investments in brain-computer interfaces, surgical robotics, mental health, and AI-driven diagnostics.

StartUp Health community member MiSalud Health raised new funding, bringing its total investment to $18.3M, to scale its bilingual AI-powered health platform to 20 additional states and expand services that bridge cultural and linguistic gaps in care. The round was led by IGNIA, with participation from Redwood Ventures, Amplifica Capital, Ulu Ventures, Magnify Ventures, and Taylor Farms, a MiSalud client and strategic partner. <source>

Synchron, a New York, NY-based developer of an implanted brain-computer interface that detects and wirelessly transmits motor intent out of the brain, then uses AI that is learning to decode thought in real time, potentially allowing severely paralyzed people to control digital devices with hands-free point-and-click, raised $200M led by Double Point Ventures, with participation from ARCH Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Bezos Expeditions, NTI, METIS, Australian National Reconstruction Fund (NRF), T.Rx Capital, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), K5 Global, Protocol Labs, and IQT. <source>
Cornerstone Robotics, a Hong Kong-based surgical robotics company whose flagship product has entered clinical use in hospitals across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Europe, raised approximately $200M from undisclosed investors. <source>
Affect Therapeutics, a remote-first AI-driven app and clinical decision support system for treating substance use and mental health disorders, raised $26M led by Allumia Ventures, with participation from Artis Ventures, City Light Capital, LifeArc Ventures, and Limitless Ventures. <source>
Amae Health, a San Francisco, CA-based startup focused on helping Americans living with severe mental illness end the cycle of repeat hospitalizations, raised $25M led by Altos Ventures, with participation from Quiet Capital, Bling Capital, Cedars-Sinai Ventures, Healthier Capital, and 8VC. <source>
NextSense, a Mountain View, CA-based wearable EEG technology company, raised $16M led by Ascension Ventures, with participation from Satori Neuro, Corundrum Neuroscience Fund (CNS), and individual investors including Esther Dyson, David Eagleman, PhD, and Bradley Horowitz. <source>
Olli Health, a Madison, WI-based AI-powered home health coding and quality review platform, raised $10M led by Industry Ventures, with participation from Cannage Capital, Equitage Ventures, Tau Ventures, and Arkitekt Ventures. <source>
arcoris bio, a Schlieren, Switzerland-based life science research tools and in-vitro diagnostics company, raised CHF 6.3M ($7.8M) led by Ventura Ace and ZEISS Ventures, with participation from Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) and other private investors. <source>
Hepta, a Foster City, CA-based biotechnology company using AI to read the cell-free DNA (cfDNA) epigenome and detect organ-specific signals of chronic disease, raised $6.7M led by Felicis Ventures and Illumina Ventures, with participation from SeaX Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and AME Cloud Ventures. <source>
mecha Health, a San Francisco, CA-based applied AI lab building next-generation foundation models for radiology, raised $4.1M led by Valia Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator. <source>
Planbase, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI-native employee management platform for healthcare, raised $2.1M from Y Combinator, LocalGlobe, and angel investors. <source>
HoloMD, a Rockville, MD-based provider of an AI-powered remote therapeutic monitoring platform for psychiatry, raised $1.6M from undisclosed investors. <source>
MedySeva, a Mumbai, India-based startup developing a telemedicine technology platform, raised Rs 4 crore ($481k) led by Unicorn India Ventures. <source>
IgniteData, a New Castle, DE-based company that specializes in intelligent clinical trial data automation, raised an undisclosed amount led by FCA Venture Partners, with participation from Labcorp Venture Fund and Epsilon. <source>
iRiva Medical, a Minneapolis, MN-based development stage medical device company, raised an undisclosed amount led by F-Prime, with participation from Hatteras Venture Partners, Norwest, and Treo Ventures. <source>
Klaim, a Dubai, UAE-based AI-driven healthcare payment-acceleration solutions provider, raised an undisclosed amount from Claritev Corporation. <source>
MyPhysicianPlan, a North Brunswick, NJ-based automated digital platform that provides comprehensive health plans for primary care services, raised an undisclosed amount from undisclosed investors. <source>
Precision Neuroscience, a New York, NY-based brain-computer interface company working to provide breakthrough treatments for neurological illness, raised an undisclosed amount from SCI Ventures. <source>
