This week’s reported global health innovation funding included:
Cohere Health, a Boston, MA-based provider of clinical intelligence solutions for health plans and risk-bearing providers, raised $90M led by Temasek, with participation from Deerfield Management, Define Ventures, Flare Capital Partners, Longitude Capital, and Polaris Partners. <source>
Akido Labs, a Los Angeles, CA-based company developing a system that fully integrates AI into a provider visit, raised $60M led by Oak HC/FT, with participation from Greco, SNR, Y Combinator, Future Communities Capital, Jeff Dean, and the Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center. <source>
Sprinter Health, a Menlo Park, CA-based mobile healthcare provider that combines technology and a medical practice to reimagine care at home, raised $55M led by General Catalyst, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Bio + Health, the Regents of the University of California, Google Ventures, and Accel. <source>
PHASE Scientific, a Hong Kong-based biotech company that develops diagnostics and healthcare solutions for early disease detection, raised $34M led by Value Partners Group. <source>
Dazos, a Boca Raton, FL-based provider of a CRM platform for behavioral health providers, raised $25M led by Radian Capital. <source>
CureBay, a hybrid healthcare platform combining tech-enabled eClinics with a digital infrastructure to expand care access in rural India, raised $21M led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from Elevar Equity and British International Investment. <source>
SpotitEarly, a Tel Aviv, Israel- and Englewood, NJ-based AI biotech firm offering a noninvasive breath test platform for early cancer detection, raised $20.3M from Hanaco Venture Capital, Menomedin Venture Capital, Jeff Swartz, and Avishai Abrahami. <source>
Cronofy, a Nottingham, UK-based provider of embedded scheduling platform for healthcare and other industries, raised £15M ($19.9M) from BGF. <source>
Biostate AI, a Houston, TX-based innovator in artificial intelligence and RNA sequencing, raised $12M led by Accel, with participation from Gaingels, Mana Ventures, InfoEdge Ventures, Matter Venture Partners, Vision Plus Capital, and Catapult Ventures. <source>
Persist AI, a Sacramento, CA-based developer of AI-driven robotics for pharmaceutical formulation, raised $12M led by Spero Ventures, with participation from MBX Capital, Shimadzu Future Innovation Fund managed by Global Brain Corporation, Eli Lilly & Company, SignalFire, Ford Street Capital, Purdue Ventures, Good AI Capital, Cartography Capital, Asymmetry Ventures, 2048 Ventures, Innospark, and YCombinator. <source>
Oath Surgical, a Portland, OR-based company providing a vertically-integrated operating system combining AI software and tech-first surgical centers, raised $10M from Oxford Science Enterprises, Black Opal Ventures, Rogue VC, Tau Ventures, First Spark Ventures, and other investors. <source>
Rad AI, a San Francisco, CA-based generative AI company developing radiology solutions, raised $8M led by Advocate Health, Memorial Hermann Health System, Corewell Health, and Atlantic Health System. <source>
Pluto Biosciences, a Denver, CO-based provider of an AI-powered data management, analysis, and visualization platform designed for pharma, raised $3.6M from Kickstart, Silverton Partners, and angel investors. <source>
Mentaily, a Ramat Gan, Israel-based creator of AI-powered tools for mental health assessment, triage, and diagnosis, raised $3M from family offices, The Rashi Foundation, Sheatufim, and angel investors. <source>
Seniorverse, a New York, NY-based software platform for senior care, raised $2.1M from undisclosed investors. <source>
RevolKa, a Sendai, Japan-based biotech company providing an AI-driven protein engineering technology platform for drug discovery, raised $1.4M co-led by D3 LLC and TOHOKU University Venture Partners, with participation from DEEPCORE. <source>
Envoke, a Leeds, UK-based provider of a simulation software platform that enables medical staff to train to use lab equipment and troubleshoot problems, raised £1M ($1.34M) from NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance and Finance Yorkshire’s Seedcorn Fund. <source>
MindSpire, a Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK-based neurotech startup developing medical devices, raised £850K ($1.1M) led by SFC Capital, with participation from SyndicateRoom. <source>
Certify Health, a Gaithersburg, MD-based provider of a SaaS patient engagement platform, raised an undisclosed amount led by ABS Capital Partners. <source>
Olaris, a Framingham, MA-based precision medicine platform that leverages machine learning and metabolite biomarker discovery to improve how diseases are diagnosed, treated, and monitored, raised an undisclosed amount from Bruker Corporation. <source>
Redica Systems, a Pleasanton, CA-based quality and regulatory intelligence company for the life sciences industry, raised an undisclosed amount from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund (MGHIF), Savant Growth, and Rock Creek Capital. <source>
