Top raises include Hippocratic AI and Tala Health securing a combined $226M, alongside fresh investments in post-acute care administration automation, data-driven fitness, robotic surgery, and LGBTQ+ mental health.
This week’s reported global health innovation funding included:
Hippocratic AI, a Palo Alto, CA-based safety-focused generative AI healthcare agents company, raised $126M led by Avenir Growth, with participation from CapitalG, General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Kleiner Perkins, Premji Invest, Universal Health Services (UHS), Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, WellSpan Health, John Doerr, Rick Klausner, and others. <source>
Tala Health, a San Francisco, CA-based platform designed to empower clinicians by deploying AI agents across the full patient journey, raised $100M led by Sofreh Capital. <source>
Archy, a San Jose, CA-based provider of an AI platform for dental practices, raised $20M led by TCV, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, CRV, Entrée Capital, and 25 practicing dentists. <source>
Arya Health, a New York, NY-based startup providing AI agents for post-acute care administration, raised $18.2M led by ACME Capital, with participation from Ridge Ventures, Twelve Below, executives from OpenAI, and post-acute care providers. <source>
Sweatpals, an Austin, TX-based community-driven fitness platform, raised $12M led by Patron, a16z speedrun, and HartBeat Ventures, with participation from Max Mullen, WndrCo, Antler, Pear, and Deb Liu. <source>
Popai Health, a San Francisco, CA-based company that uses AI to turn patient conversations into action, raised $11M led by Team8, NEA, and additional strategic investors. <source>
Bevel, a New York, NY–based developer of an AI health companion that unifies data from wearables and daily habits across sleep, fitness, and nutrition into personalized insights, raised $10M from General Catalyst. <source>
Human Health, a Surry Hills, NSW, Australia-based platform that allows users to track symptoms, treatments, and health outcomes for chronic conditions, raised $8.5M from LocalGlobe, Airtree, Skip Capital, Aliavia, and Scale Investors. <source>
CustoMED, a Ramat Gan, Israel-based developer of AI-powered 3D printed solutions for orthopedic surgery, raised $6M from Longevity Venture Partners, Varana Capital, Flag Capital, the Israel Innovation Authority, an orthopedic implant company, and Avishai Abrahami. <source>
Cylerity, a Madison, WI-based healthcare fintech company that uses AI-enabled anomaly detection and machine learning valuation models to predict when claims will be paid and how much will be reimbursed, raised $4M led by HealthX Ventures, with participation from C2 Ventures, Upstream Ventures, Wisconsin Investment Partners, and Tundra Angels. <source>
FLiiP, a Montreal, QC, Canada-based end-to-end management software tailored for fitness businesses, raised $1.5M from CIBC Innovation Banking. <source>
Allswell, a Baltimore, MD-based mental health provider focused on LGBTQ+ patients, raised $1.3M led by Amboy Street Ventures, with participation from Seae Ventures’ Unseen Capital, Techstars, and others. <source>
Sovato, a Santa Barbara, CA-based startup enabling healthcare organizations to implement and scale remote robotic surgery and procedure programs, raised an undisclosed amount led by Beringea, with participation from Polaris Partners, Intuitive, GS Ventures, Laerdal Million Lives Fund, Puma Venture Capital, Teladoc Health, and other private investors. <source>
