This week’s reported global health innovation funding included:
Ambience Healthcare, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of an AI platform for documentation, coding, and clinical workflows, raised $243M co-led by Oak HC/FT and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from OpenAI Startup Fund, Kleiner Perkins, Optum Ventures, Town Hall Ventures, Frist Cressey Ventures, Smash Capital, Founders Circle Capital, and Georgian. <source>
Ultromics, an Oxford, UK-based company that specializes in AI-driven cardiology solutions, raised $55M led by L&G, Allegis Capital, and Lightrock, with participation from Oxford Science Enterprises, GV, Blue Venture Fund, Oxford University, UCM Ventures, and UPMC Enterprises. <source>
Equip Health, a Carlsbad, CA-based virtual eating disorder treatment provider, raised $46.6M from undisclosed investors. <source>
Arbital Health, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI platform to help manage value-based care contracts, raised $31M led by Valtruis, with participation from Shaper Capital, Transformation Capital, and Healthy Ventures. <source>
b.well Connected Health, a Baltimore, MD-based company that offers a FHIR-based digital health platform for healthcare organizations, raised $20M from Trinity Capital. <source>
Sava Technologies, a London, UK-based company that specializes in real-time molecular health monitoring, raised $19M led by Balderton Capital and Pentland Ventures, with participation from new Norrsken VC, JamJar Investments, True, Italian Founders Fund, Athletico Ventures, SOLO Investments, and Exceptional Ventures. <source>
MAUI Imaging, a San Jose, CA-based provider of a patented technology that visualizes anatomy, raised $14M led by Acertara Acoustic Laboratories. <source>
C8 Health, a New York, NY-based provider of a practices implementation platform for healthcare, raised $12M led by Team8, with participation from 10D and Vertex Ventures Israel. <source>
Afaxys, a Charleston, SC-based company focused on serving the reproductive health needs of public health professionals and their patients, raised $8M from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and an anonymous foundation. <source>
PhnyX Lab, a Seoul, South Korea-based GenAI startup focused on improving how life science companies operate, raised $4M led by SK Networks, with participation from angel investors. <source>
Neurogram, a São Paulo, Brazil-based AI research company focused on neurological health, raised $3M led by Headline. <source>
Wanda Health, a Seattle, WA- and Emersons Green, UK-based provider of an intelligent platform for remote patient monitoring and virtual care, raised £1.9M ($2.5M) led by EMV Capital Partners. <source>
Delta Development Team, a Tucson, AZ-based prehospital blood systems company, raised an undisclosed amount from the U.S. Air Force’s TACFI (SBIR) program, Central Texas Angel Network (CTAN), Desert Angels, Arizona Tech Investors (ATI), Baylor Angel Network (BAN), and Pasadena Angels. <source>
MAGENTIQ EYE, a Haifa, Israel-based company that specializes in AI-powered gastroenterology decision-support software, raised an undisclosed amount led by aMoon, with participation from Norgine Ventures, Nina Capital, Namarel Ventures, Nova Capital, and private investors Sake Bosch and Roon Doornink. <source>
Unmind, a London, UK-based enterprise mental health platform, received an investment from TELUS Global Ventures. <source>
