From assistive AI for emergency response to 3D human tissue drug testing and end-of-life care navigation, startups around the world raised money this week to reshape how care is delivered, experienced, and personalized.

This week’s reported global health innovation funding included:

Prepared, a New York, NY-based provider of an assistive AI platform for emergency response, raised $80M led by General Catalyst, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), First Round Capital, and Radical Ventures. <source>

Empathy, a New York, NY-based tech startup supporting the way people plan for and navigate life’s toughest moments, raised $72M led by Adams Street Partners, with participation from General Catalyst, Index Ventures, Entrée Capital, Brewer Lane Ventures, SemperVirens, Latitude, and LionTree. <source>

Vivodyne, a San Francisco, CA-based company developing drug testing on lab-grown 3D human tissues, raised $40M led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Lingotto Investment Management, Helena Capital, Fortius Ventures, Kairos Ventures, CS Ventures, Bison Ventures, and MBX Capital. <source>

Pillar Biosciences, a Natik, MA-based oncology decision medicine company, raised $34.5M from Illumina, Soleus Capital, and other investors. <source>

Outcomes4Me, a Boston, MA-based developer of an AI-driven platform that helps patients with cancer take a proactive approach to their care, raised $21M led by Salica Investments, with participation from Labcorp Venture Fund, Forecast Labs, Northpond Ventures, Sierra Ventures, Asset Management Ventures, IRA Capital, and Merstal LTD. <source>

myLaurel, a New York, NY-based healthcare company delivering home-based acute and transitional care, raised $12M led by Deerfield Management and GV, with participation from Emerson Collective, Pinta Partners, Ochsner Health, and management. <source>

AssistIQ, a Montreal, ON, Canada-based startup that offers hospitals computer vision technology for supply chain management, raised $11.5M led by Battery Ventures, with participation from Tamarind Hill. <source>

Brainreader, an Aalborg, Denmark-based developer of an AI-powered brain diagnostic software platform, raised €6.6M ($7.3M) led by Dahlgren Capital, with participation from Investo Capital. <source>

Brooklyn Health, a New York, NY-based neuroscience technology company that measures mental health outcomes in clinical trial participants, raised $6.5M led by HealthX, with participation from Metrodora Ventures, Story Ventures, RiverPark Ventures, Laconia Capital, Everywhere Ventures, Hypothesis Studio, and Blue Falcon Capital. <source>

Alba Health, a Stockholm, Sweden-based gut health startup, raised $2.5M led by Unconventional Ventures, with participation from Exceptional Ventures, Voima Ventures, Noaber, Bust, and Petteri Lahtela. <source>

CareLineLive, a Slinfold, UK-based home care management software company, raised an undisclosed amount from Accel-KKR. <source>

Cyborg, a New York, NY-based company developing confidential AI infrastructure for industries such as healthcare, raised an undisclosed amount from iGan Partners. <source>

R1, a Murray, UT-based company that specializes in managing and automating healthcare revenue management, raised an undisclosed amount from Khosla Ventures. <source>

TruTechnologies, a Research Triangle Park, NC-based provider of real-time clinical trial oversight, raised an undisclosed amount from LLR Partners <source>
