AI, Access & Precision Care Platforms Raise Funding | StartUp Health Insights: Week of Jul 22, 2025

This week’s health innovation funding was led by OpenEvidence’s $210M round to transform medical search with AI, while investments in value-based care, Medicaid navigation, men’s health, and precision oncology spotlight a growing global push to personalize and expand access to care.

This week’s reported global health innovation funding included:

OpenEvidence, a Cambridge, MA-based medical search and AI application provider, raised $210M from Sequoia Capital, Coatue, Conviction, Thrive, and others. <source>

AbsoluteCare, a Columbia, MD-based company that specializes in value-based integrated healthcare, raised $135M from Kinderhook Industries, CVS Health Ventures, Pacific Life, and Lexington Partners. <source>

Numan, a London, UK-based digital men's health platform, raised $60M led by Big Pi Ventures, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst, White Star Capital, Novator Partners, and HSBC. <source>

vVARDIS, a Zug, Switzerland-based startup that offers biomimetic dental products, raised $50M from OrbiMed. <source>

evolvedMD, a Scottsdale, AZ-based collaborative care management (CoCM) provider, raised $34M led by Sustainable Investing at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, with participation from Conductive Ventures, FCA Venture Partners, Healthworx Ventures, Tectonic Ventures, and Waterline Ventures. <source>

Fellow Health, a San Leandro, CA-based company focused on advancing male reproductive health through patient-centric testing solutions, raised $24M led by 5AM Ventures, with participation from The Forest Road Company. <source>

Charta Health, an AI-enabled platform that automates billing and coding workflows, raised $22M led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from SV Angel, South Park Commons, Madrona Venture Group, and Refract Ventures. <source>

Fortuna Health, a New York, NY-based provider of a consumer Medicaid navigation platform, raised $18M led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Y Combinator and founders and executives from Abridge, DoorDash, Hex, One Medical, Oscar Health, Scale, and Vanta. <source>

One Biosciences, a Paris, France-based precision oncology techbio company, raised €15M ($17.6M) led by Redmile Group and Blast, with participation from Galion.exe, Invus, Adamed Technology, Sofinnova Partners, Polytechnique Ventures, and Kima Ventures. <source>

Everlab, a Melbourne, Australia-based provider of an AI-powered health platform for preventive care, raised $10M led by Left Lane Capital. <source>

M7 Health, a New York, NY-based nurse staffing startup, raised $10M led by Threshold Ventures, with participation from First Round Capital, 25m Health, and Lakehouse. <source>
