Digital health platform She Matters, designed to improve maternal mortality in minority communities, has raised an additional $2M to launch ‘The Symptom Tracker’ app and expand its ‘Cultural Competence Certification’ program for providers.

She Matters — a member of the StartUp Health community since 2022 — is on a mission to improve maternal health outcomes for Black mothers. The company has raised an additional $2M in funding from backers including the American Heart Association, The Fund, and The Social Entrepreneurs Fund. <source>

Abridge, a Pittsburgh, PA-based company which specializes in generative AI for clinical documentation, raised $150M led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, co-led by Redpoint Ventures, with participation from IVP, Spark Capital, Union Square Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Wittington Ventures, Mass General Brigham Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation Fund (AIDIF), Kaiser Permanente Ventures, and CVS Health Ventures. <source>

Medical Microinstruments, a Pisa, Italy-based developer of surgical robots, raised $110M led by Fidelity Management & Research Company, with participation from Deerfield Management, Wellington Partners, BioStar Capital, RA Capital Management, Andera Partners, Fountain Healthcare Partners, Panakès Partners, and Sambatech. <source>

Frontier Medicines, a Boston, MA- and San Francisco, CA-based precision medicine company developing therapies against otherwise undruggable disease-causing targets, raised $80M co-led by Deerfield Management Company and Droia Ventures, with participation from Galapagos NV, MPM Capital, RA Capital Management, and DCVC Bio. <source>

Fabric, a New York, NY-based company that consolidates fragmented healthcare point solutions in one platform, raised $60M led by General Catalyst, with participation from Thrive Capital, GV (Google Ventures), Salesforce Ventures, Vast Ventures, Box Group, and Atento Capital. <source>

b.well Connected Health, a Baltimore, MD-based company empowering platform-enabled healthcare ecosystems, raised $40M led by Leavitt Equity Partners. <source>

Bioptimus, a Paris, France-based startup developing an AI foundational model focused on biology, raised $35M led by Sofinnova Partners, with participation from Bpifrance’s Large Venture fund, Frst, Cathay Innovation, Headline, Hummingbird, NJF Capital, Owkin, Top Harvest Capital, and Xavier Niel. <source>

Oula, a New York, NY-based maternity care company, raised $28M led by Revolution Ventures and Maverick Ventures, with participation from GV, the Female Founders Fund, 8VC, Alumni Ventures, and Great Oaks. <source>

Matter Neuroscience, a New York, NY-based company working to unlock a deeper understanding of happiness and wellbeing by providing people with personalized insights into their brain chemistry, raised $26M co-led by ARCH Venture Partners, Polaris Partners, and Exor Ventures, with participation from Collaborative Fund and others. <source>

HealthSnap Solutions, a Miami, FL-based remote patient monitoring platform seeking to help providers better care for a rapidly aging and chronically ill population, raised $25M led by Sands Capital, with participation from Comcast Ventures, Acronym Venture Capital, Florida Opportunity Fund, Asclepius Growth Capital, Florida Funders, MacDonald Ventures, and TGH Ventures. <source>

Carewell, a Miami, FL-based online retailer focused on providing family caregivers with tools and resources to care for their loved ones, raised $24.7M led by MBF Healthcare, with participation from Sageview Capital, Headline, and others. <source>

Pozitivf, a San Antonio, TX-based provider of a fertility clinic network, raised $20M led by MonCap. <source>

Blackbird Health, a Pittsburgh, PA-based neuroscience-led and technology-backed youth mental health provider, raised $17M from Define Ventures, Frist Cressey Ventures, and GreyMatter. <source>

AZmed, a Paris, France-based medical imaging startup using AI to accelerate the workflows of radiologists, raised €15M (~$16.2M) from Maison Worms, Techstars, Teampact Ventures, and others. <source>

Power, a San Francisco, CA-based clinical trial marketplace aimed at improving patient recruitment, raised $12M led by Kin Ventures and Contrary. <source>

Baseimmune, a London, UK-based biotech company that uses proprietary, deep learning AI to predict future pathogen mutations to generate novel vaccines, raised £9M (~$11.3M) led by MSD Global Health Innovation Fund and IQ Capital, with participation from Hoxton Ventures, Creator Fund, Beast Ventures, and Maki.vc. <source>

Alodokter, an Indonesian healthtech platform, raised $5.2M from HL Mando and Beacon Venture Capital. <source>

FamilyWell Health, a Boston, MA-based behavioral health startup focused on maternal mental health, raised $4.3M led by .406 Ventures, with participation from GreyMatter Capital and Mother Ventures. <source>

Axle Health, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of scheduling and workforce management software in the home health care space, raised $4.2M led by Pear VC. <source>

ISHI Health, a San Diego, CA-based AI-powered virtual clinic specializing in heart failure and complex cardiac disease care, raised $4M led by Takeda Digital Ventures. <source>

UnityAI, a Nashville, TN-based startup that will apply AI to optimize how patients flow through hospitals, raised $4M led by Max Ventures, with Whistler Capital Partners co-investing, and participation from Nashville Capital Network, Company Ventures, and healthcare angels. <source>

Elektra Health, a New York, NY-based digital health platform that empowers women navigating the menopause journey, raised $3.3M led by UPMC Enterprises, with participation from Wavemaker 360, Flare Capital Partners, and Seven Seven Six Fund. <source>

Upheal, a New York, NY-based clinical transcription provider for mental health professionals, raised $3.25M led by Credo Ventures, with participation from Kaya Ventures and Inovia Capital. <source>

Tuned, a New York, NY-based digital hearing health company providing preventive and comprehensive hearing health for employers, raised $3.2M led by Unum Group, with participation from Distributed Ventures. <source>

Sonus Microsystems, a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based ultrasound technology platform delivering remote diagnostic imaging, raised $2.1M led by LDV Capital, with participation from angel investors, early-stage funds, and individuals. <source>

Juniper, a UK-based startup that aims to provide healthcare insurance as a workplace benefit, raised £1.5M ($1.9M) led by Insurtech Gateway, with participation from VCs 2100 Ventures, Exceptional Ventures, and angel investors. <source>
